Each time we come to CDMX we hang out at this mercado for some drinks and food. This last visit we had some drinks and listening to live music. We noticed that there were less businesses opened this time, but it no doubt we will come back again.

A little indoor area with a bunch of eateries and a few vendors. We sat in the back by the bar and had a few happy hour drinks. The price was reasonable for happy hour and it seemed to be a popular place for expats & foreigners. They call it Mercado but there's not too much shopping, it's more of a place to eat.

We tried the barbacoa tacos from here. They were phenomenal!!! So good, I had to go back for another. I tried the Passion fruit w/tequila from Mezcaleria bar. Sensational! The plants and day of the dead decorations were great.

I was able to experience this food hall recently and, overall, I thought this was really good - there are so many options available to customers, from traditional Mexican food to other international cuisines. During my visit, I went to Segrado Sazon and I got the quesabirilla tacos. They were very good: fresh tasting tacos, well-flavored meat and a delicious consume. There are a couple of bars in the space and I got a passion fruit mojito, which was great. The pictures of the space made it seem as if it's really spacious, but it seemed a bit small to me. Seating is very limited, so try not going during popular meal times. They had a live DJ when I was there and made the atmosphere very lively.

Loved this little food market in Roma Norte (I also loved pretty much everything about walking around Roma Norte). Stopped in on a Monday around 2pm. Pursued all the vendors, they all looked tasty, but ended up ordering from the vegan restaurant in the back, Flores de Vegano. My sister and I split the chips and guac, and then I got the tostada with soyrizo and some other delic veggies spread all over it. It was sooo good and so filling, I couldn't even finish it (I believe it cost around $8, so great value)! Then we both got drinks from the bar right across from the vegan restaurant, which offered Rumchata Mezcal Margaritas!!!! Possibly my favorite drink of the entire trip! Then we went shopping and both bought some jewelry from one of the little shops in here. Loved our afternoon here!

Located in a trendy neighborhood, Mercado Roma is a food hall with over two dozen food and drink vendors, a second-floor bar and a rooftop beer garden. We got there on a Sunday around 6 p.m. and all the outdoor and back area seating was taken. We found a table on the second floor, which worked well. My wife and I ordered two red sangria that came with a meat and cheese plate. Our five-year-old daughter loved the cheese empanadas and my burrito was good. Each vendor has a different system. Some ask for payment up front. Others ask for after you finish your food. There are funky bathrooms on the second floor with a view down on the patio.

Mercado Roma is a cool, hip marketplace with a lot of food options to choose from, which was like a food hall. It definitely was a popular spot for trendy foods of all different kinds of cuisines. We visited Mercado Roma for dinner and the place was pretty busy even on a weekday. I was surprised to find that on the day we went, the vendors were mostly food sellers, as I thought there would also be artisan goods sold here. I only saw one stall for that. But I did find some good grub after doing a lap. I ended up choosing a vendor that had birria tacos and birria ramen! I also ordered a guava margarita from one of the bars. What's nice is that after you order from a vendor, they will invite you to sit wherever you choose in the marketplace and will bring your item to you. The birria tacos were better than the ramen. The ramen tacos had tons of juicy pork flavor, especially when dipped into the consomme! The birria ramen was A-OK. They didn't use ramen noodles, which was most surprising. But I did like that the broth was a consomme and had the shredded pork with. The eggs though were hard-boiled instead of soft, which was another bummer. But not too shabby for a fusion. Overall, this is a fun place to check out for some trendy eats, as they feature a lot of appealing items. The atmosphere was also casual and fun, with a bar in the center of the first floor. On the second floor are more dining options and restrooms. I'd recommend checking out if in the Roma neighborhood.
